Run live classes without the WhatsApp chaos
Scheduling, reminders, attendance, and recordings — what changes when your Zoom classes run inside the portal instead of being pasted into group chats.
The typical live-class routine in Pakistan looks like this: the teacher schedules a meeting in the Zoom app, pastes the link into two WhatsApp groups, teaches, and later someone forwards a recording link that half the batch never receives. Attendance is whoever the teacher remembers seeing. When a student asks for last week's class, it begins a search.
Schedule once, everywhere
When class scheduling happens inside the portal, one action does the rest: the meeting is created through Zoom's API against your institute's own Zoom account, the class appears on every enrolled student's Live page, and the join link is generated from the meeting ID — not retyped from a chat.
- Students see upcoming classes with exact times in their own timezone, per batch.
- Reminders go out automatically before class — the nightly job covers everything scheduled in the next day, so nothing slips because a cron window was too narrow.
- The join button only works for enrolled students of that batch.
Attendance that records itself
Zoom reports who joined, when, and for how long. When those webhooks feed back into the portal, attendance stops being a register the teacher fills from memory: each participant's join time and duration land against their enrollment the moment the meeting ends. For batches where attendance is part of the certificate criteria, that record is the difference between a defensible certificate and an argued one.
Recordings attach to the class, not to a chat
When the cloud recording finishes, it attaches to the class it belongs to. The student who missed Tuesday opens the same Live page everyone else uses and watches Tuesday's class — with the same signed, time-limited delivery that protects every lesson video, so links cannot be reshared outside the batch.
What changes for the teacher
Less admin, and no new habit to learn: schedule the class from the batch they already manage, teach as they always did, and everything around the teaching — reminders, attendance, the recording — arrives without being chased. The WhatsApp groups can keep existing for discussion; they just stop being the infrastructure.
