Certificates an employer can actually verify

A PDF with a name on it proves nothing. How certificate numbers, QR codes, and a public verification page turn your certificate into evidence.

Ask an employer what they do with a course certificate and the honest answer is: they try to check it, fail, and move on. Paper certificates are copied, PDFs are edited, and nobody has time to call an institute to confirm a batch date. The certificate becomes decoration instead of evidence.

What makes a certificate verifiable

Verification is not a hologram sticker. It is three things working together:

  • A unique certificate number that exists once in your records — no two students, no two batches, the same number.
  • A QR code on the certificate that encodes one URL, pointing at your institute's verification page.
  • A public page that opens without a login and shows the student's name, course, batch, and issue date — exactly what your record says.

The last point is the one people miss. If verification needs an admin to log in and search, verification never happens. The page has to load for anyone, from a phone camera, in under a second.

When should the certificate issue?

Automatically, when the student actually finishes. The moment lesson progress hits 100% — or you sign it off manually for a batch that ended — the certificate generates with its number and QR, and lands in the student's portal. Manual certificate production is where institutes fall behind: the batch ends, everyone is busy, and the certificates simply never get made.

How students use them

  1. 1Download the PDF from My Certificates — branded, print-ready.
  2. 2Share the verification link directly on a CV or LinkedIn instead of attaching the file.
  3. 3An employer scans the QR, sees the matching record, and stops asking for a phone verification.

Institutes that adopt verifiable certificates tend to notice something unexpected: students start sharing them. A certificate that can be checked is worth putting on a profile; one that cannot is worth nothing to display.
